At Yummy Munchie, we provide a bespoke procurement and global logistics service. Our mission is to bridge the distance between Tokyo’s elite food halls (Depachika) and your residence with uncompromising speed and temperature integrity.

1. The All-Inclusive Provisioning Model

To ensure a seamless "white-glove" experience, our pricing is fully inclusive of the end-to-end curation process. This includes:

  • Personal Commissioning: Hand-selection of items from Tokyo’s premier boutiques (Isetan, Mitsukoshi, Takashimaya).

  • Climate-Controlled Handling: Management through our dedicated refrigerated 3PL facility in Tokyo.

  • Bespoke Export Packaging: Reinforced, thermal-shielded packaging designed for high-value perishables.

  • Delivered Duty Paid (DDP): All international import duties, local taxes, and customs clearance fees are included. Your curation arrives at your door with no additional administrative burden or surprise fees.

2. Global Service Hubs & Timelines

We specialize in priority refrigerated air-freight to the world’s most discerning markets.

For other international destinations (e.g., EU, Canada, NZ), delivery windows and rates are calculated at the point of commission based on real-time carrier capacity.

3. Weight & Volume Tiers

Our standard curation rate covers packages up to 2.0kg. For executive-scale orders or high-volume provisions:

  • Orders exceeding 2.0kg incur a specialized volumetric surcharge of $20 USD per additional kg to maintain the integrity of the express cold-chain transit.

4. Real-Time Transit Monitoring

Upon the departure of your curation from our Tokyo export hub, a private tracking link will be dispatched to your email. We utilize premium global carriers (DHL Express / FedEx Priority) to ensure your provisions are monitored at every stage of their journey.

5. Cold-Chain & Arrival Integrity

While we utilize reinforced export-grade shielding, the delicate nature of Japan’s heritage confections requires immediate attention upon arrival.

  • Arrival Protocol: Please inspect your curation upon delivery. If the structural or thermal integrity is compromised, contact our concierge at info@yummy-munchie.com within 24 hours.

  • Documentation: Please include your commission number and clear photographic evidence of the packaging and contents.

6. Address Integrity & Discretion

To maintain the speed of our cold-chain cycle, address modifications cannot be facilitated once a commission is placed. We request that you verify the precision of your delivery coordinates—including gate codes or concierge instructions—prior to finalization.
